The Showhouse for Heroes is a showcase for premier design talent that benefits charity. Ageloff Design Group was invited to create a bedroom and en suite bath, which they envisioned as a place where a college-aged young woman could sleep, contemplate, read, study and gather with friends. With only eight weeks to complete the rooms, the Ageloff Design Group team relied on its industry partners to realize their design.
A custom daybed is the room’s centerpiece and serves as both a twin-size bed and a lounge for conversation. Color was a key ingredient in creating an energetic yet sophisticated ambiance. A William Engel oil painting amplifies a high-energy patterned rug, high-gloss grey purple walls and curated vintage glass and pottery.
